रिनेबल एनर्जी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए मोदी कैबिनेट का फैसला, 1,500 करोड़ रुपये की दी मंजूरी
सरकार (Government) ने बुधवार को भारतीय अक्षय ऊर्जा विकास एजेंसी ( Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency) लि. में 1,500 करोड़ रुपये की पूंजी डालने का निर्णय किया। इससे इरेडा (IREDA) की कर्ज देने की क्षमता बढ़कर 12,000 करोड़ रुपये हो जाएगी। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (Narendra Modi) की अध्यक्षता में मंत्रिमंडल (Cabinet) की आर्थिक मामलों (Economic Matters) की समिति की बैठक (Meeting) में इस प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी गयी।
मंत्रिमंडल की बैठक के बाद संवाददाताओं से बातचीत में सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर (Anurag Thakur) ने कहा कि भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के कर्ज संबंधी नियमों को देखते हुए यह फैसला किया गया है।
अनुराग ठाकुर ने कहा कि इरेडा में 1,500 करोड़ रुपये की पूंजी डाले जाने से उसकी नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा (Renewable Energy) क्षेत्र को कर्ज देने की क्षमता 12,000 करोड़ रुपये हो जाएगी. मंत्रिमंडल के इस निर्णय से इरेडा को 3,500 से 4,000 मेगावॉट नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षमता सृजित करने में मदद मिलेगी।
बता दें कि अक्षय ऊर्जा के वित्तपोषण के लिए भारतीय अक्षय ऊर्जा विकास एजेंसी लिमिटेड (इरेडा) की स्थापना की गई थी। अनुराग ठाकुर ने बताया कि कैबिनेट ने ‘राष्ट्रीय सफाई कर्मचारी आयोग’ का जो कार्यकाल है, उसको 1 अप्रैल 2022 से अगले 3 साल के लिए बढ़ाने का निर्णय कर दिया गया है। अब इनका कार्यकाल 31 मार्च 2025 तक रहेगा।

This proposal was approved in the meeting of the Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talking to reporters after the cabinet meeting, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that this decision has been taken in view of the loan related rules of Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Anurag Thakur said that with the infusion of Rs 1,500 crore capital in IREDA, its lending capacity to the renewable energy sector will increase to Rs 12,000 crore. This decision of the cabinet will help IREDA to create 3,500 to 4,000 MW of renewable energy capacity.
Explain that the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) was established to finance renewable energy. Anurag Thakur said that the cabinet has decided to extend the tenure of ‘National Commission for Safai Karamcharis’ for the next three years from April 1, 2022. Now his tenure will be till 31 March 2025.
