जानकारी के मुताबिक महिला का विवाह रामनगर प्रखंड जोगीया में हुआ था। शादी के बाद महिला ससुराल में रहने लगी। हालांकि हर पल उसे प्रताड़ित किया जाता था। महिला के उक्त बातें अपने घर फोन कर के बताई। एक रात उसने मायके वालों को बताया कि मुझे मारा पीटा जा रहा है। मेरी हत्या की साजिश हो रही है।
ये सुनते ही मायके पक्ष वाले भागे भागे महिला के ससुराल पहुंचे। जहां महिला की स्थिति काफी नाजुक थी। जब तक महिला अस्पताल जाती, तब तक उसकी मौत हो गई। मृत महिला की पहचान जोगिया निवासी संतोष साह की 30 वर्षीय पत्नी निर्मला देवी के रूप में हुई।
महिला के मायके वाले रात में ही उसका शव को लेकर रामनगर थाना पहुंचे। थाने में मामला को दर्ज कराते हुए महिला की मौत के लिए उसके पति को जिम्मेवार ठहराया। मृतक की बेटी ने भी बताया कि मां की हत्या उसके पिता ने की है।
बताया जाता है कि वर्षों से भाभी-देवर के बीच प्यार संबंध था। इस बीच देवर की शादी हो गई। इसके बाद भी यह प्रकरण नहीं रूका। उसका विरोध पत्नी ने करना शुरू कर दिया। इसके बाद उसे उसकी हत्या कर दी।

The family members of the woman reached Ramnagar police station in the night itself with her dead body. While registering the case in the police station, she held her husband responsible for the death of the woman. The daughter of the deceased also told that the mother was murdered by her father.
