गंगाशहर थाना क्षेत्र के खेतेश्वर बस्ती निवासी ओमप्रकाश जीनगर ने अपने घर में फांसी लगाकर जीवनलीला समाप्त कर ली। बताया जा रहा है कि ओमप्रकाश ने कुछ दिन पहले अपना मकान बेचा था। 4-5 दिन पहले वह 3-4 लाख रूपए लेकर घर से निकला। कभी घर आता, कभी नहीं आता। बीती रात 8 बजे घर आया था। घर पे पत्नी से पैसों को लेकर झगड़ा हुआ।
शुक्रवार सुबह मृतक के भाई ने थाने में पहुंचकर भाई के गायब होने की इतला पुलिस को दी और आशंका जताई कि उसे डर है कि बैंक अकाउंट में पड़े एक लाख रूपए भी वह निकाल लेगा। उसने पुलिस से कहा कि बैंक को बोलकर पेमेंट रुकवाए। उसकी तलाश की गई, वह नहीं मिला। बीती रात मेडिकल पर देखे जाने की बात भी सामने आई। आज शाम उसके पुराने के आगे बच्चे खेल रहे थे। ये मकान खुला रहता था। बॉल अंदर गई तो बॉल लेने मकान के अंदर गए बच्चों ने उसका शव देखा।
सूचना पर थानाधिकारी लक्ष्मण सिंह राठौड़, एएसआई ईश्वर सिंह सहित पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची। खादिम खिदमतगार सोसायटी को सूचना दी गई। सोसायटी के सोएब व हाजी मकसूद ने शव पीबीएम पहुंचाया। असहाय सेवा संस्थान के राजकुमार खड़गावत व त्रिलोकसिंह ने शव मोर्चरी में शिफ्ट करवाने में मदद की।

It is being told that Omprakash had sold his house a few days back. 4-5 days ago he left the house with 3-4 lakh rupees. Sometimes he comes home, never comes. Came home last night at 8 o’clock. At home, there was a fight with the wife over money.
On Friday morning, the brother of the deceased reached the police station and informed the police about his brother’s disappearance and expressed fear that he would withdraw even one lakh rupees lying in the bank account. He told the police to stop the payment by calling the bank. He was searched, he was not found. The matter of being seen on medical last night also came to the fore. This evening the children were playing in front of his old man. This house used to be open. When the ball went inside, the children who went inside the house to collect the ball saw his dead body.
On information, the police team including SHO Laxman Singh Rathod, ASI Ishwar Singh reached the spot. Khadim Khidmatgar Society was informed. Soeb and Haji Maqsood of the society brought the body to PBM. Rajkumar Khadagawat and Trilok Singh of Asahaya Sewa Sansthan helped in getting the dead body shifted to the mortuary.
